Android Framework/Application Developer

Responsibility:

• Design, implement and test one or more Android middleware frameworks. These frameworks could be a combination of Java and C/C++ “system libraries” (with JNI)

• Work closely with application developers to ensure that the frameworks/libraries they create are robust and complete

• Integrate and optimize third party software modules

• Tailor and port the Android platform to customized hardware device

Knowledge and skills:

2+ Years of working experience in Android Framework and application development

• Bachelor/Master degree in CS, EE or related field

• Highly proficient with Java/C++ programming skills

• Strong capability in OOA/OOD, UML and design pattern

• Highly skilled with one or more Android middleware frameworks (libraries or system level services) development

• Good at Java over Android platform development experience

• Experience with Android UI Layout, Database, Multi-Thread, Activity, Service, JNI, etc.

• Strong knowledge on Android System Architecture and Android source code

• Familiar with Linux/Android kernel development

• Experience on Embedded Linux programming

• Vehicle Infotainment System development experience is a big plus

• Proven to be a quick learner and good team player, take responsibilities and initiatives proactively

• Self-motivated, target driven and innovative thinking

• Strong communication, coordination and analytical skills required

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin

• Open minded and willing to accept challenge
