JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:   )Nn< g_ 
This position will be responsible for allocating staff to projects and will work with the Development Manager/ Quality Manager to appraise staff during the assignment.  The successful candidates will report to Manager of Resources Development, RTCL.  The position will be base in Beijing.%Y5} L'

• Liaise with Human Resources to develop training plans for staff in your group`;8Iy@ 
• Determine project assignments for staff considering both the business goals of the Company and the skills development goals of individualszs&HLex 
• Engage the local HR Talent Acquisition function to ensure strategic recruitment takes place -eJO? T 
• Recruit staffs according to the development centre requirement^)=8sw3wJ 
• Maintain defined levels of staff utilization and participate in the project process at the strategic program level to maintain your exposure to the business&/dPG$.\ 
• Ensure that Thomson Reuters technical and business knowledge management needs are met

Qualifications

Qualification:   %`![k_a 
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field     v>7> O8G 
   xAZ+4|,5A 
Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:   fy-$TSvJ 
~t H$"`  
• 5 years of relevant experience as Project Management in an IT environment.&-{sGm& 
• 3 - 5 years of People Management Development experience\Y<hH `-n 
• Demonstrate general management skills e.g. succession management, mentoring and coaching.xsCuqV+l 
• Broad technical understanding preferably in a development environmentDgb Xp 
• The ability to think outside the box to ensure staff are fully utilized e.g., seconding staff to other groups/projects both locally and globally*;;tYeM 
• The ability to manage risks and dependencies that impact resources availabilitytW-hs foP 
• The ability to work with people of different levels and with varying talents and to be able to motivate and develop themkExGqXAi; 
• Patient and understanding when dealing with staffing issuesW6Oqdi?i 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.l9;"Zzm7 
• Good written and spoken English

Experienced in software development, customer support or data centre operationso, 0h(2j 
Leading a team of not less than 2 direct or functional reports in the pastOTj/ V|?8 
Documentation (proven by some recent accomplishments)Sd3c`,7U`
