JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:   ]O{.NNffn- 
This position will be responsible for allocating staff to projects and will work with the Development Manager/ Quality Manager to appraise staff during the assignment.  The successful candidates will report to Manager of Resources Development, RTCL.  The position will be base in Beijing.@YnW'=(=

• Liaise with Human Resources to develop training plans for staff in your group{nPb#"o[` 
• Determine project assignments for staff considering both the business goals of the Company and the skills development goals of individualsD; fj#5 
• Engage the local HR Talent Acquisition function to ensure strategic recruitment takes placeaY/a\&~/$ 
• Recruit staffs according to the development centre requirementvu!X1+? 
• Maintain defined levels of staff utilization and participate in the project process at the strategic program level to maintain your exposure to the business4vdhRj,[)O 
• Ensure that Thomson Reuters technical and business knowledge management needs are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field    ?|S~O(i)s

Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:   X$8bUR03

• 5 years of relevant experience as Project Management in an IT environment>Y]8kT i 
• 3 - 5 years of People Management Development experiencekj(~ =F;a 
• Demonstrate general management skills e.g. succession management, mentoring and coaching.D,`2{8v*F 
• Broad technical understanding preferably in a development environmentx@#cjre8J 
• The ability to think outside the box to ensure staff are fully utilized e.g., seconding staff to other groups/projects both locally and globally 2AILL- { 
• The ability to manage risks and dependencies that impact resources availabilityD#f9Gi.{/A 
• The ability to work with people of different levels and with varying talents and to be able to motivate and develop thema>O?1&~L 
• Patient and understanding when dealing with staffing issuesNw9MF%sD" 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.JWx" 'u= 
• Good written and spoken English

Experienced in software development, customer support or data centre operationsI!)ygn 
Leading a team of not less than 2 direct or functional reports in the pastCPiu/v?V
