Responsibilities:

1. Component and System Verification of Base-Band IC with full responsibility for functional quality of IC.

2. Definition and implementation of chip and system verification environment for ICs containing all peripherals (i.e. USB, SD, EMMC, Camera, SDIO, SPI, MIPI, SIM Card controller, I2C, I2S, UART, NAND flash controller, LPDDR1/2 controller…) and interfaces to other ICs

3. Development of a Hardware Abstraction Layer, Low Level Drivers and Libraries for ICs

4. Definition and implementation of test cases for functional verification (-asm/C-language)

5. Customer support during the evaluation phase

6. Failure analysis together with Design, Test and Concept Engineers

7. Execution and Automation of Test Cases to increase test coverage under different external conditions

Requirement:

1. Bachelor, better with Master Degree, more than 3 years’ experience in embedded system development, including driver level software development and hardware debugging;

2. Good C & -asm programming language skills base on embedded system; better with Python development experience;

3. Knowledge in embedded system SOC hardware components and interfaces is appreciated: (i.e. USB, SD, EMMC, Camera, PCIE, SDIO, SPI, MIPI, SIM Card controller, I2C, I2S, UART, NAND flash controller, LPDDR1/2 controller, Power management…);

4. Experience in SOC verification is appreciated;

5. Familiar with the usage of lab equipment: Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, power supply, Temperature chamber, Protocol Analyzer… etc.

6. Experience in embedded system on line Debug Tool chain (Cortex-A5, ARM11, X86), Trace32, Jtag… etc.

7. Good reading/writing /spoken skills in English;

8. Familiar with software version control tools: ClearCase, Git; familiar with bug management tool and environment;

9. Experience in the following areas are highly appreciated:

1) More than 2 years’ experience in USB3.0/2.0 development and debugging based on embedded Linux system, focus on the device side, familiar with the power saving of USB, inter-chip USB, is a big plus;

2) More than 2 years’ experience in SD card, eMMC, SDIO development and debugging based on embedded Linux system is a big plus;  

3) More than 3 years’ experience in U-boot, Linux kernel debugging, system boot up is a big plus;

4) More than 2 years’ experience in LTE PHY development is a big plus;

5) Experience in system debugging tool development by using script language is a plus;

6) Familiar with Intel/Infineon mobile chip architecture and debugging tool set is a plus;
