Accounting Deputy Manager (based in Shanghai)

·         Lead  the China Corporate and  Accounting Services (CCA) with two other managers

·         Based in Shanghai,  responsible for accounting and tax issues for clients in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen

1.     Business Development

           i.       Maintain solid relationships with existing clients in order to generate additional business

          ii.       Establish new business relationships with potential clients in order to win them

         iii.        

2.     Clients

·                   Prepare workflows and SOP for clients during kick off process

·       Oversee clients' accounts and ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality of financial reports to clients, tax authorities and stakeholders.

·       Handle clients' regular treasury and tax reports including monthly, quarterly and annual reports to tax authorities.

·                   Liaise with clients' auditors, tax officers and relevant authorities.

·                   Provide advisory services such as PRC GAAP and IIT to clients.

·                   Coordinate clients regularly to discuss and update accounting and tax filing issues.

·                   Handle annual consolidated inspection of relevant services.

·       Provide ad hoc services to clients, such as answering tax enquiries, tax refund, company cash flow planning

3.     Internal

          i.        Manage

·           Manage the overall client flow with the other two managers Manage work flow and work efficiency and ensure clients’ deadline are met

·           Establish work policies and procedures and ensure compliant and ethical work style

·           Share duties with other two managers to handle administrative works of the team, such as time sheets, leaves approval, payment approval, and quotation and service agreements.

         ii.        Supervise

·           The execution of assignments within the contracted time frame

·           Data maintenance (CRM and assignments) in Fiducia ERP system

·           Approve billings entries in Fiducia ERP system

·           Maintain filing system (documents and internal working papers)

        iii.        Staff Management

·           Jointly responsible with two other managers for a team of 20 members in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing

·           Handle staff relations and coordinate staff duties and workload

·           Conduct annual performance reviews and bonus reviews

Team Management

·         Be part of the senior leadership team

·         Pro-actively cooperate with all managers in other profit and cost centres

·         Contact with existing and new clients on management and operations level

·         Contact with tax bureau,  government authorities, auditors and banks

·         8 years’ experience in accounting and audit fields, preferable in international firms and MNC

·         Experience in handling accounting in manufacturing and trading companies

·         Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese

·         University degree preferably in Accountancy

·         CICPA qualified member or equivalent

·         Accounting and Tax Advisory services experience

·         Client management experience

·         Outgoing and able to establish rapport

·         Proactive with relevant content

·         Proven team player and leader
